Research

Use of the Danbury Museum Library and Archives by serious researchers is encouraged.  The Library and Archives are open to Museum members by appointment only.  Please call (203.743.5200) or e-mail (dmhs@danburyhistorical.org)  the Museum at least 10 business days in advance to arrange an appointment.

Fees charged for research and other services are intended to cover our actual costs. All profit from these activities is reinvested in our active archive preservation program.

Payment of all fees must be made in advance.  Any excess payment will be credited to further research services or refunded.  The Museum accepts cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

Due to the high volume of research requests the Danbury Museum reserves the right to treat each request on a first come, first served basis.  When contacted by the Research Specialist you will be advised of an approximate time of completion of you request.
